Our Iceland Trip

As you all know, we recently went on a trip to Iceland and are currently working on an online series which will be launched very soon(It will be up this week, if our electricity doesn’t go off for a few days with Hurricane Ophelia). While we are getting our series edited, we are getting lots of emails and messages about our experience in Iceland – Where we stayed and what we did! La Boqueira Food Market!

Lovers of fresh food, marvellous meat, tasty treats and succulent sweets… we were only delighted when we stumbled upon La Boqueria food market right in the heart of Barcelona! La Boqueira is a large public market in the Ciutat Vella district of Barcelona and one of the city’s foremost tourist landmarks. As it is very accessible by public transport, free to enter, and open everyday it is a definite must see!

Kayaking along the Cote Vermeille

As many of you know, I spent a few days in the beautiful South Of France recently. Collioure is a Mediterranean jewel just waiting to be discovered. Situated on the rocky coastline of the Cote Vermeille in the very south of france. One of our top things to do while in Collioure is to head out on the water! Collioure is located in an ideal location between mountains and sea and there are a range of water activities to enjoy – diving, snorkelling, kayaking etc. As many of you know, I am a real water baby so when the opportunity came to go kayaking along the Cote Vermielle… I, of course, said YES!!  (more…)

Switzerland

You will find very little to complain about in Switzerland… picture-perfect castles, villages, hot chocolate in a chalet strewn with geranium boxes, red mountain train rides between mountains… it really has it all! Linguistic dexterity, cultural diversity, mountain vistas, heavenly chocolate, and natural landscapes so extrodinarily magnificent – even the gods get goosebumps! Go on… go there! (more…)
