New Malta Route from Cork Airport

I love getting emails about new destinations from Cork. Nothing beats being able to fly from your home city. I love flying from Cork Airport – it’s hassle free, relaxed atmosphere and ease is what I adore. Today, Cork Airport announced from Ryanair that the airline is to commence a new Cork route to Malta in March 2019. The service to the island country, which lies south of Sicily in the Mediterranean Sea, will operate twice weekly as part of Ryanair’s Summer 2019 schedule. (more…)

My Favourite Spot in Ireland

As you all know, my favourite place in the world is Ardmore in Co. Waterford. I decided to share my favourite things to do in Ardmore with you all. The sun was shining this weekend so I grabbed my camera and went out to my favourite spots around Ardmore to take scenic photographs. I also recently got lots of new outdoor gear from Regatta Ireland so I decided to make a little video of my favourite place in the world, while also showing you some of my cool new pieces from Regatta Ireland. I am not a fashion blogger in any means but I love when clothes just fit into my adventures and are comfortable for exploring and for me, Regatta ticks all the boxes. I decided to show you the clothes but in an ‘OnTheQT’ style… with a video! Fastest growing destinations for Irish tourists revealed

I always love seeing the top destinations people are travelling to and exploring. I love seeing destinations on the rise and I always end up added more destinations to my never-ending travel bucket list. Tanzania, the Maldives and Hong Kong have been revealed as the top three fastest growing tourist destinations booked with Ireland’s largest independent travel specialists, Travel Counsellors. Since last November, bookings for the east African country of Tanzania have risen by 399%; the Indian Ocean archipelago, the Maldives by 196%; and Hong Kong by 135%. A Walk Through The New Aspire Lounge In Cork Airport

We attended the opening of the Aspire Lounge in Cork Airport a few weeks ago. We got a taste for it and made a video to bring you guys along with us to see it. Today, flying out to the States with Norwegian, we decided to go back and enjoy the Aspire Lounge before our flight. I thought it was a good time to launch of video to take you on a tour with us.

Air France celebrates its inaugural flight to Cork

As many of you know from our Instagram stories, last night we attended the launch of a new daily service between Cork and Paris with Air France and Cork Airport. The first official flight, which was greeted by a water cannon salute upon arrival from Paris-Charles de Gaulle, received a festive welcome at Cork Airport, with the aircraft flying Irish and French colours as it taxied to the arrival gate. The route was initially announced in February as a seasonal service, but due to positive forward bookings the route has been extended to a year-round service.
