Halong Bay, Vietnam

Our overnight trip to Halong Bay was absolutely incredible! We were picked up at our hotel bright and early, and travelled by bus to the port for about 4 hours where we hopped on small transfer boats to our cruiser. Lunch was served on arrival which we enjoyed as we mingled with the other guests from around the world, and shared travel stories. (more…)

Ha Noi is the capital of Vietnam, best known for its ancient architecture and a rich culture with Southeast Asian, Chinese and French influences. At its heart is the chaotic Old Quarter, where the narrow streets are a splurge of street stalls, food vendors and colourful lanterns. Conveniently the city is organised into different categories, (for example there is jewellery street, sunglasses street, shoe street… ) so useful for shopping! (more…)
