Surrounding us for the weekend was the beautiful Victorian architecture around every corner. A town which blends the old style with the new modern style perfectly. (more…)

The drive itself was just breathtaking and well worth it. The views all around, amongst the newly born lambs and fresh spring daffodils was just perfect. The perfect Sunday drive. (more…)

This market is the traditional marketing hub of Bristol and is know as St. Nicks by the locals. We were also told that these markets are home to the largest collection of independent retailers in Bristol. It is situated in the middle of Bristol city and is full of unique items, gems and the place is filled with character. A real local feel to the market. (more…)

As you have probably guessed by now, we have a little grá(Irish for love) for Italian food. While exploring during the day, we stumbled upon a Jamie Oliver restaurant so being big Jamie Oliver fans, we decided to book a table to treat ourselves that night.

The restaurant is based in the former supper halls of the Assembly Rooms on George Street. It looked very elegant with the elegant ceilings, scarlet walls, chandeliers and red velvet chairs. A perfect spot for a special night out. Even though it was quiet elegantly in decor, we found the restaurant to be very relaxed and casual. (more…)
