While recently traveling along the Wild Atlantic Way, we were so lucky to taste some of Ireland’s best seafood! McDonaghs Restauant in Galway city stands out as being extra special!

Its no wonder the restaurant has won an abundance of awards over the years… their food was simply outstanding! This family business has been passed through four generations… during which they have built up a reputation for being one of the best seafood houses in Ireland! 

Whether you wish to pop in for take-away (their chips are cooked to perfection), or sit down in the restaurant and order off the menu, your taste buds will be sure to be more than satisfied! We sat in the restaurant area which had an electric atmosphere as guests excitedly awaited their orders! I chose the mussels… they were divine! 

Popular among locals and tourists, its easy to see why this seafood house has ques spilling out onto the street… everyone wants to taste the goodness!
