Barley Cove Beach

Recently, OnTheQT went exploring the gems of West Cork and we came across Barley Cove Beach and just simply fell in love with it. As you enter you cross a floating bridge which fits in perfectly with it’s natural surroundings. This sandy beach is situated between two headlands on the Mizen Peninsula in West Cork and is surrounded by sand dunes.

It is a great spot for a day at the beach with all the family. There are lots of little spots around the beach for adventures for the little ones and it really is a perfect for a picnic. A great place to create some memories together as a family.
