The Seaside Town of Ardmore

Who knew a little seaside town would offer so much? OnTheQT discovered this little town in Waterford and we can honestly say that we fell in love with it. The views, surroundings, community, activities and sea breeze captured our attention from the beginning. Ardmore is a place which allows you to switch off and relax by stepping away from the hustle and bustle of the real world. From peaceful to adrenaline seeking activities, Ardmore is a gem waiting to be discovered. People love a little adventure, but as we know we are all different. Ardmore has something to offer each type of adventurer, from the person looking for some small adventure to the adrenaline seeker.

On one hand, you could spend your day walking the beaches, exploring the cliff walk, shopping in the quaint, creative shops or even having a beautiful Banoffee pie in the amazing Whitehorse restaurant. On the other hand, if you are looking for something completely different, try some thundercat racing and speed through the water at 100mph, sail aweigh in the bay or abseil down the cliffs near Ardmore.

OnTheQT took a stroll on the cliff walk and the views were just breathtaking. It is a great way to meet some locals on your walk and find out some of the history and gems of the location. As you all know, OnTheQT loves stepping out of our comfort zone so we met a local who brought us on a thundercat and we went speeding through the water at 100mph(as you can see in the video, it was terrifying!). We also tried a little bit of sailing with our friends from Aquatrek and of course abseiling with Ardmore Adventures. Check out our video to get a taste of Ardmore and all the amazing activities we have filled you in on in this blog. You can experience it all before you visit. No matter what type of adventurer you are, Ardmore has you covered. Trust us!
