Top QT weekend tips/things to do this weekend!
- To kick off the weekend we have culture night TONIGHT all over the country. Tonight from 6pm-9pm, the Civic Trust House on Popes Quay in Cork have lots going on. Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 1967 film, traditional music until 10pm and also some Indian cuisine from 7 till 9(which we love the sound of). We were just in with the organisers at the Civic Trust House and it looks like a great night in store for all there. Check out all the amazing free events on tonight around the country here.
- What are you weekend plans? TV night, pub, walks, cinema…why not try something a little different. Check out the Drive in Cinema in Carrigtwohill called ‘Movie Junction’. Pick a movie of your choice and bring a bunch of friends to the drive in cinema. Try something different from your typical cinema trip.
- Ballyhoura Horse Trails have a pub ride out on Sunday. Why not go on a trail, have lunch in the pub and hop back on your horse for another ride out. Check out our video here and see what beautiful scenery you can expect on the trek.
- It is the last weekend of the Dublin Fringe Festival so make the most of it. Showcasing the newest and best Irish and international arts. 1000 participants, 600 events and 30 venues! Theatre, dance, music, circus, opera, live, visual arts and much more! We will give Edinburgh Fringe a run for its money! We recently went to the Edinburgh Fringe festival. - The temperatures are supposed to increase this weekend(we hope!) so get outdoors with the kids. We love Open Farms and we love is Grenagh Open Farm in Cork. This farm feels exactly the way a farm should be with only Irish animals, tractors and much more. Great way to spend the day with the little QTs!
