Now, it’s finally Friday so it’s time for some weekend celebrations and some QT tips! Even though we only had a four day week, we are still very happy it is Friday. Last Monday, OnTheQT spent Patrick’s day filming fun, smiles and lots of happy faces dancing around the streets of Cork. The video is complete and Stephanie was delighted to be part of the famous five who created it with Ourland.ie. Anybody see us filming? Check out the video here.

A few years ago, I decided to try something a little different. I wasn’t the type of person who wanted to do a typical J1 – go to a town, share a house with other Irish people and get a job in a restaurant or a shop. I wanted to try something different and something I couldn’t experience at home.
Friday is finally here and we hope everybody is staying safe in these terrible storms. Stay safe and sound and let’s help each other through these times. I know we always encourage people to explore local spots and places but I think it is even more important at the moment to support local businesses and adventure spots who have been hard hit by the storms. Who knew a little seaside town would offer so much? OnTheQT discovered this little town in Waterford and we can honestly say that we fell in love with it. The views, surroundings, community, activities and sea breeze captured our attention from the beginning. Ardmore is a place which allows you to switch off and relax by stepping away from the hustle and bustle of the real world. From peaceful to adrenaline seeking activities, Ardmore is a gem waiting to be discovered. People love a little adventure, but as we know we are all different. Ardmore has something to offer each type of adventurer, from the person looking for some small adventure to the adrenaline seeker. (more…)
